Star Organs of Britain is a new website devoted to the best in organ photography. Our churches, chapels and concert halls are home to many beautiful examples of the organbuilder's creativity. This treasure house is declining through neglect brought on by changes in musical fashions and redundancy as churches and chapels close.

My aim is to capture the beauty of the British organ in its home surroundings for you to share and to alert you to the many hidden treasures within. Your visit to this site will also assist the work of the British Organ Archive at Birmingham University since all images will eventually form part of the Archive's reference collections. Copies of the photographs can be purchased through the Photo Library section.

All photography is done on large format guaranteeing very high quality reproduction.
